The ECLAT ORIGINAL barrel is the authentic expression of the influence of wood toasting technology using ceramic heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The staves of the barrel are slowly and delicately bent over a wood fire then thoroughly \u2018cooked\u2019 through to the heart using ceramic heat. Deep, uniform toasting of the staves caramelises the wood sugars without the presence of smoky notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ECLAT Original promotes expression, fruit integrity<\/strong> and site-expressiveness whilst also imparting subtly spiced notes depending on the chosen toasting intensity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The ECLAT F\u00dbZION barrel is a compromise solution at the intersection between the brazier tradition and the modernity of ceramic heat toasting.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The staves are first bent and toasted using an open fire. Then, midway through the toasting, the process is completed by gentle, in-depth ceramic heat toasting.
The ECLAT F\u00dbZION barrel offers an aromatic profile that leans towards sweetness, fat and fruit integrity, whilst also developing the classic, structuring notes of the traditional barrel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The toast\/smoke characters can be customised depending on the winegrower\u2019s desired style.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sheer fruit<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The shell of the barrels is prepared by saturating it with steam from magnetically treated water.
Once the HYDRO phase is complete, the staves are bent without the use of a brazier and the toasting is done through ceramic heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wood of the barrel is cooked without ever coming into contact with a flame or smoke. The HYDRO steam promotes and homogenises the caramelising of the wood sugars using ceramic heat, through to the heart and around the edges of the staves.
